Module Deferred payment
Trade credit for selected customers, with full control on the store's side
The module adds a payment method that works like trade credit: visible only to selected customers, with a term of 7, 14 or 30 days. You set the term by default for a group or individually for a specific trading partner. A solution for B2B sales and serving public institutions, where an invoice with a deferred payment term is standard.

Benefits benefits
Support for B2B sales
A business customer places an order with a deferred payment term, just as they expect.
Access only for selected customers
The method is visible only to users assigned to a dedicated group, so you decide who gets trade credit.
Flexible terms
You create 7, 14 or 30-day variants and set a default value that matches your company's policy.
Individual terms
You can assign each customer their own term or leave the default setting.
Integration with checkout
The payment appears in the checkout process like any other method, but only for eligible customers.
Orders from the panel
The same rules apply to orders created by a sales rep in the back office.
Control over whom you trust
In B2B sales, not every customer pays when ordering, but not everyone can be given payment terms.
Companies, wholesalers and institutions expect an invoice with a payment term. It’s a standard whose absence can kill a deal at the enquiry stage.
The store, however, has to keep control over who gets such terms. Trade credit for a random account ends in a conversation with the debt collection department, which is why the method is visible only to customers assigned to a specified group.
Practical applications
Vetted partners order regularly and expect an invoice with a thirty-day term. You assign them to a group with deferred payment and set individual terms.
Schools, offices and public sector bodies only pay on the basis of an invoice with a payment term. You give them fourteen or thirty days and handle public orders without manual work.
A sales rep takes an order by phone and enters it in the panel, applying the terms assigned to that customer.
Specification specification
Settings in the panel
- Group of eligible customersA payment method visible only to users assigned to the specified group.
- Term variantsAny number of thresholds, for example 7, 14 and 30 days, with one marked as the default.
- Individual termOverriding the default value on a specific customer's account.
How it works in practice
- A customer outside the eligible group doesn't see this payment method at checkout.
- The term is taken from the customer's account, and if there isn't one, from the default setting.
- The rules work the same way for orders created in the back office.
