Who we are the right choice

Not every store needs a specialised agency. Below are the situations in which our work makes sense, and one in which you’d be better off looking for someone else.
  • Scale

Your store is your main sales channel

Downtime costs you real money, so you need a response time set out in writing, not the contractor’s goodwill.
  • Integrations

Your store has to be integrated with ERP and a warehouse

Synchronising stock, prices and orders is where implementations most often fall apart. We’ve done it with SAP, among others, for seven markets at once.
  • B2B

You sell wholesale or combine B2B with B2C

Individual price lists, credit limits, order approval. PrestaShop can do it, but not out of the box.
  • Development

You want to develop your store, not just launch it

We work on a model of ongoing support with development, not a project-and-goodbye approach.
  • When not

You're looking for the cheapest offer or a different platform

We don’t compete on price and we don’t work outside PrestaShop. We’re also not needed for a simple store on a ready-made theme with no integrations.

From diagnosis to ongoing support

One team, one technology and one contract all the way. We agree the scope of the next stages based on what the diagnosis shows.

How we work

Why one platform

We choose projects for PrestaShop

We don’t choose technology for the project, we choose projects for one technology. That’s where our knowledge of the core, hooks and typical module conflicts comes from.

Diagnosis starts with a hypothesis

We start dealing with a failure by checking two typical causes, not by getting to know the environment. That’s the difference between minutes and hours.

One team all the way

Implementation, integrations and maintenance are run by the same team. You don’t have to work out who is responsible for a failure or coordinate several suppliers.

Code that doesn't block updates

We don’t touch the PrestaShop core without need, so the next version of the platform doesn’t mean rewriting half the store.

Before you compare offers

A cheaper offer doesn't always mean a cheaper project

Don’t compare the implementation price alone. Compare the cost of the store’s whole life cycle: what happens after launch, at the next update and on the day something stops working.

  • A failed integration
Wrong stock levels, cancelled orders, manual retyping of data and pricing errors. The cost is counted in your team’s working hours, not on the contractor’s invoice.
  • Code written in a hurry
Every subsequent update costs more, migration becomes a problem and you depend on the author of the solution.
  • No single point of responsibility
The hosting company says it’s the code. The developer says it’s the server. The ERP provider says it works on their side. Meanwhile, the store isn’t selling.

You know what you get and what you pay for at each stage

Six stages. The first costs nothing and ends with a clear answer, even when that answer is: this isn’t a project for us.

We ask about scale, integrations and deadlines. If we’re not the right contractor, we say so straight away. You get to know whether the project is a fit, the recommended next step and an indicative budget range.

For an existing store, a technical audit; for a new one, a scoping workshop. You get a closed scope, priorities, risks, a schedule and a quote.

We book the team. Before the start, both sides know what is included in the project, what isn’t and how changes are settled. New requirements are quoted separately or swapped for other elements of the scope.

Each stage has sign-off criteria agreed in advance, so before work starts it’s clear how both sides will know it’s been completed. You pay after each stage is signed off.

Tests, a launch plan, data migration and a rollback plan. After launch we monitor the store and stabilise any issues before it moves into normal support mode.

Monitoring, a team and a response time set out in writing. Response to an infrastructure failure in under 2 hours; the development response time depends on the chosen package.

Budget

How we quote

We don’t compete on price and we don’t sell a package blind. Below are the principles we use to calculate costs, and underneath them the entry points for each type of cooperation.

  • A quote once the scope is agreed
We give a range straight away and the exact amount after the workshop or audit, once it’s clear what is worth doing and in what order.
  • What affects the price of implementation
The number of integrations, the size of the catalogue, unusual features and whether the graphic design is custom.
  • You pay in stages, with sign-offs
Each stage has its own scope, sign-off criteria and payment. You see working features during the project, not only at the end.
  • You don't pay for writing the same thing again
We implement typical features on proven components instead of reinventing the cart or search for every project.
  • A smaller budget means a smaller scope
We don’t lower the quality of critical elements to fit the whole scope into a lower price. We split the project into stages and set priorities.
Choosing a contractor

A freelancer, a specialised agency or a software house

Each of these models makes sense in a different situation. Below are the differences worth checking with any contractor, not just us.

Freelancer Recommended Specialised agency Software house
Knowledge of the core and hooks
Depends on one person
From hundreds of implementations on one platform
Depends on the number of the team's implementations, it's worth asking
Failure diagnosis time
Depends on the freelancer's availability
Minutes, because we know typical module conflicts
Depends on familiarity with the specific store
Continuity of work during absences
One person is a single point of failure
Cover within a 25-person team
Project team
Ready-made components
Usually none
Its own module library
Depends on the company's resources
Integrations with ERP and warehouse
Simple APIs
Over 100 integrations delivered
Delivers them, PrestaShop experience varies
Predictability of the quote
Low with a larger scope
Repeatable implementation scenarios
Depends on knowledge of the platform
Platform updates
Depends on code quality
Code written so as not to block them
Depends on the chosen architecture
Official PrestaShop certificates
Rarely seen
10 certificates in the team
Rarely seen
Maintenance after go-live
Usually no response time set out in writing
WayCare, response in under 2 hours
Usually a separate contract
When it's the better choice
Small, one-off tasks
The PrestaShop store is critical for sales
Most of the project goes beyond e-commerce

FAQ

Before you compare offers

If your question isn't here, write to us. We reply within 24 business hours.

01Why might your offer be more expensive?
The difference rarely comes from the hourly rate. Compare the scope of integrations, testing, the test environment, the way the launch is handled, responsibility after launch and the cost of taking over the project later. That’s why, before we compare two prices, we compare the scope point by point.
02I have a cheaper offer from a competitor. What now?
That’s normal. Let’s check whether both quotes cover the same integrations, testing, migration, launch and responsibility after launch. If the scope really is the same, then it’s worth talking about price.
03Can the project fit into a smaller budget?
Yes, most often by splitting it into stages or limiting the scope of the first version. We don’t lower the quality of critical elements just to fit the whole scope into a lower price.
04How do you reduce the risk of a failed implementation?
Each stage has sign-off criteria agreed in advance. We carry out migrations in a parallel environment, with a rollback plan. We test before launch, and after launch we stabilise the store before it moves into normal support mode.
05I don't know yet what scope is needed.
That’s what the first stage is for. For an existing store we diagnose its technical condition, for a new one we agree the scope in a workshop.
06Will you take over a store from another contractor?
Yes, we do it regularly. We start with the handover of access and a technical audit, then stabilise the critical issues and move to ongoing support.
07Isn't it cheaper to build your own team?
Your own team makes sense with a large, steady scale of development. An agency wins when you need several skills at once, cover for people and experience gathered from many stores.
08How does a specialised agency differ from a software house?
A software house works in many technologies, so PrestaShop is just one of its environments. If most of your project goes beyond e-commerce, a software house may be the better choice.
09What will I get after the first conversation?
Information on whether the project is a fit for us, the recommended next step and an indicative budget range.
10Do you work with clients outside Kraków?
Yes, we work remotely with clients from all over Poland and abroad. Our office is in Kraków, and that’s where meetings take place if the project requires it.

Do you have a PrestaShop project that needs more than just programming?

In 30 minutes we’ll check the scale and risks, identify the right next step and give you an indicative range. If the project isn’t a fit for us, we’ll say so straight away.
